- ปลาไหลขนาดเล็กตัวเป็นๆ นับพันกิโลกรัมต่อวัน ถูกเบียดอัดมาในกระสอบปุ๋ยเดินทางจากเขมรสู่ประเทศไทยหลายต่อหลายทอด 
โดยมีเงื่อนไขว่าจะต้องมีชีวิตไปจนถึงมือคนใจบุญ 
- ปลาไหลที่ปล่อยลงในแม่น้ำ ลึก ไหลเชี่ยว ไม่สามารถรอดชีวิตอยู่ได้ 
เพราะธรรมชาติของปลาไหลต้องอยู่ในน้ำแฉะมีดินโคลนให้มุดเพื่อหลบพัก 
- หอยขมที่อยู่ในดินโคลนตามธรรมชาติ เมื่อถูกเทลงสู่ก้นแม่น้ำลึกอย่างแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา หอยก็จมน้ำตายได้เหมือนกัน 
- นกกระติ๊ดจะสูญพันธุ์ในไม่ช้า เพราะคนจับมาเบียดเสียดในกรงแคบ บางตัวแข้งขาหักตายคากรง 
ส่วนที่เหลือซึ่งบินจากไปก็บอบช้ำเกินกว่าจะรอดชีวิต  และบ้างก็ไม่มีแหล่งหากินในเมืองต้องตายในที่สุด   
- เต่าเป็นสัตว์เลื้อยคลาน แต่คนส่วนใหญ่เข้าใจว่าเป็นสัตว์ครึ่งบกครึ่งน้ำ 
และเมื่อถูกปล่อยลงแม่น้ำที่ไม่มีสิ่งใดให้ยึดเกาะ เต่าก็จะต้องว่ายน้ำต่อไปจนกว่าจะขาดใจตาย เพราะเหนื่อยและหมดแรง   
- เต่าเป็นสัตว์ที่อายุยืนที่สุดในโลก แต่ถ้าเต่าถูกปล่อยในที่ที่แออัดน้ำเน่าเสียไม่มีที่เกาะ 
เต่าจะตายอย่างทรมาน เพราะอาการเจ็บป่วยที่กระดองเน่าเปื่อย และจมน้ำตาย กลายเป็นสัตว์ที่น่าสงสารที่สุดในโลกชนิดหนึ่ง   

ทำไมการปล่อยสัตว์ในยุคสมัยนี้จึงมีบาปมากกว่าบุญ 
1. เพราะปล่อยไม่ถูกที่ถูกทาง ทั้งสภาพความเป็นอยู่และศัตรูธรรมชาติ ทำให้สัตว์ที่ปล่อยไปไม่มีโอกาสรอดชีวิต 
2. เพราะส่งเสริมให้มีการจับสัตว์ที่อยู่ในธรรมชาติอย่างปกติสุขมากักขังหน่วงเหนี่ยว ทรมาน 
3. ในทุกขั้นตอน ตั้งแต่การจับ กักขัง ขนส่ง และรอจำหน่าย มีสัตว์จำนวนมากต้องตายอย่างทรมานก่อนที่จะได้รับอิสรภาพ
